The owners put a huge extension onto their old family cottage and wanted to convert the unfinished basement from a junk room to a family-functional space.

They contacted us to evaluate the possibilities and come up with a floor plan & design that would meet their needs.

Given the owners have growing boys and a large extended family who always visit, we decided to turn the space into a separate entertainment room where the kids could hang out and play games or practice on their guitar or piano.

To accommodate all of their "stuff," we included a dedicated mudroom and closed off storage with ample shelves and room for a 2nd fridge.
