The owners put a huge extension onto their old family cottage and were left with some awkward "we don't know what to do with these spaces" spaces.
Based on our clients' needs & wants, we simply looked at the rooms with a fresh perspective and developed an inexpensive shuffle-around plan to maximize comfort & functionality.
First we designed a custom folding station & storage next to the laundry area. We moved the "office" table into the smaller loft (which had an incredible view down the lake), and moved the mattresses into the larger loft and created a quiet reading/relaxing area that doubled as a supplementary sleeping space.
